Other Websites Related To the Surname Rys
The
World Wide Web (WWW) has many individual websites, both personal and
professional. The list below is an attempt to put together some of the websites
associated with the surname RYS. This may encourage correspondence between those
with RYS as a surname, to see if there is a shared heritage.
Science/Mathematics Interests:
Judging from some of the RYS websites I visited, there seems to be a sizable number of those with the RYS surname who have an interest in science or mathematics. In some cases, this interest has led to the pursuit of scientific careers.
I found
mathematics related references to a John Rys involved with a "Rys mathematical
polynomial or rotation technique". For example:

CHEMISTRY: I,
myself, have a BA in Chemistry and one of my children has a Ph.D. in Organic
Chemistry and one of my sister's children has a Ph.D. in Chemistry. One of
my daughters has a degree in food science. Other nephews and nieces have
degrees and backgrounds in the medical sciences and other technology related
occupations and interests.
MATHEMATICS/COMPUTERS: One of my daughters has an accounting/computer science degree and one of my sister's children is an actuary for an insurance company. My other sisters children, my nephews and nieces have pursued careers and have become skilled in technical endeavors and computer applications.
Interest in chemistry and other sciences/technologies seems to be associated with this area
of Poland and in many regards with Poland in general.
